This project presents an overview of ongoing armed conflicts around the world between 2000 and 2025. It aims to provide clear, structured information to raise awareness of both widely publicized wars and those that receive little to no media attention.
The goal is to create an horizontal background towards conflicts that remain largely invisible in public discussions, despite having serious humanitarian, economic, and political impacts. Many wars covered here continue without international scrutiny or support, and as a result, are excluded from the broader narrative of global crisis.
This imbalance reflects how Western societies often engage with conflicts only when directly relevant to their own interests: political, economic, or cultural. Public discourse and solidarity tend to follow media visibility, leaving many regions in ongoing crisis outside of view and concern.
The information in this project is compiled to contribute to a more complete understanding of global conflict and its consequences.
